As early as September last year, the Aviation Base partnered with Tencent to jointly establish the Xi’an Aviation Big Data Center. Taking “aviation industry + industrial internet” as the breakthrough point, the initiative aims to dismantle information silos, integrate industry resources, foster seamless collaboration among aviation enterprises, and drive quality improvement, efficiency gains, and transformation and upgrading of China’s indigenous aviation industry.
As early as September last year, the Aviation Base partnered with Tencent to jointly establish the Xi’an Aviation Big Data Center, using “aviation industry + industrial internet” as a breakthrough to dismantle information silos, integrate industry resources, foster collaborative development among aviation enterprises, and drive quality improvement, efficiency gains, and transformation and upgrading of the national aviation industry.
At the main forum of the Xi’an Summit of the Tencent Global Digital Ecology Conference, Tong Xiuli, a member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of the Aviation Base, delivered a keynote speech on the “Aviation Big Data Center Industrial Cloud.” To date, more than 800 enterprises have migrated their operations to the cloud platform of the Xi’an Aviation Big Data Center. With the onboarding of renowned industrial service providers such as Dassault, Huatian, and Kingdee; financial institutions including Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Xi’an Bank, and WeBank; as well as universities, research institutes, and startup teams, the platform now hosts 31 financial products, has facilitated over RMB 100 million in loans, recorded 420 scientific and technological achievements, and captured more than 500 entries on enterprise production capacity and equipment information, thereby bringing together critical resources such as equipment, production capacity, scientific and technological breakthroughs, and specialized talent. As a result, numerous small and medium-sized enterprises have leveraged the platform to secure orders and funding, identify suppliers and technology partners, and achieve rapid growth.
According to reports, the Xi’an Aviation Big Data Center’s cloud platform will be data-driven and service-oriented, adopting a “1+N” innovation and development approach to build a brand-new “online aviation hub.”
In this framework, “1” refers to the establishment of an industrial cloud platform geared toward large, medium, and small aviation enterprises, which provides industry-specific support and supply–demand matching services to upstream and downstream players in the supply chain, fosters collaborative development among cloud-adopting enterprises, enables seamless integration of online and offline resources, and builds a comprehensive industrial support platform. “N” denotes multiple specialized sub-platforms centered on the core platform, offering services such as industrial collaboration, digital transformation, financial services, and professional talent training. In addition, the Xi’an Aviation Big Data Center promotes the adoption of industrial Internet solutions—including industrial design and testing software, intelligent manufacturing systems, and supply-chain management systems—to deliver tailored solutions for aviation manufacturers seeking integrated industrialization and informatization, while actively exploring application scenarios for smart aviation manufacturing. Leveraging the Xi’an Aviation Big Data Center platform, the aviation base is developing a robust supporting ecosystem that encompasses high-bandwidth infrastructure, big data centers, the industrial Internet, big data industrial parks, and digital economy parks. By harnessing digital technologies to integrate diverse offline resources, the region is further enhancing its business environment and elevating service standards.
Wang Lun, Director of the Science and Technology Innovation Bureau of the Aviation Base Management Committee, stated that in the future, the Xi’an Aviation Big Data Center will continue to advance project operations, expand its product capabilities and user base, and strive to exceed 5,000 users by 2021. The center will also continuously develop financial products and industrial application solutions, facilitate financial transactions totaling more than RMB 500 million, onboard over 5,000 sets of production equipment and technologies, and bring in more than 2,000 scientific and technological achievements, with matchmaking for such capacity and technology transactions exceeding RMB 200 million. In addition, the center will further integrate with government and industry platforms to enhance its sector-wide influence, take on responsibilities for disseminating relevant information, publishing supply-chain updates, and providing management and matchmaking services, thereby supporting decision-making by both government bodies and various market entities.
